Abstract (en)

Provided is a gel electrolyte that has a lower concentration of matrix polymer and that can maintain a gel state. The gel electrolyte contains a non-aqueous electrolyte solution in which a lithium-containing electrolyte is dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent and a matrix polymer, the matrix polymer being a copolymer containing a vinylidene fluoride unit and a fluorine atom-containing monomer unit as a repeating unit, and the melting point T m of the matrix polymer being within a range that satisfies the following Relationship (I) relative to the concentration C (mass%) of the matrix polymer included in the gel electrolyte: T m ‰¥ 145 ˆ’ C where 0.1 ‰¤ C ‰¤ 30.
