The method includes analyzing the electronic document to determine at least one transaction parameter of the transaction, wherein the electronic document includes at least partially unstructured data; creating a template for the transaction, wherein the template is a structured dataset including the determined at least one transaction parameter; determining, based on the created template, at least one data source; obtaining, from the determined at least one data source, data evidencing the transaction; and determining, based on the obtained evidencing data and the created template, whether the transaction is verified.
