[origin: WO2017157524A1] The invention relates to a method for evaluating sensor data for a value document, wherein a storage unit and a multicore processor which can access the storage unit are used. A management subgroup of the cores comprises at least one of the cores, and at least one analysis subgroup of the cores comprises at least one other core. The management subgroup manages the storage unit with respect to the storage of at least the sensor data and generates analysis information for carrying out the analysis, and the at least one analysis subgroup carries out at least one part of the analysis on the basis of the analysis information and stores the result in the storage unit.
