[origin: GB2548616A] An attachment for a hair care appliance comprising at least one vane 100 for directing fluid within a flow path towards an outlet 50 wherein the body 12 of the attachment comprises at least two extended plates 40 and the outlet comprises a slot defined by an overlap between the plates; and wherein the at least one vane is positioned within the overlap between the at least two extended plates. The body may be elongate and may have a first end 14 including the fluid inlet and a second end 16 and may extend along an axis. The fluid outlet may extend along the axis between the first end and the second end. The at least one vane may change the direction of fluid flow. The attachment could be an attachment for a hairdryer or other hot air styling device and is suitable for curling the hair.
