Die Anmeldung betrifft eine Abstreifleiste (20) für ein Abstreifschild (68) einer Straßenfräsmaschine, mit einem Träger (10), der eine Frontseite und eine rückwärtige Montagefläche (17) aufweist, wobei der Träger (10) eine Schneidelement-Aufnahme (13) aufweist, wobei an oder in der Schneidelement-Aufnahme (13) Schneidelemente (30) entlang einer sich in Breitenrichtung des Trägers (10) erstreckenden Längsachse (L) aneinandergereiht gehalten sind, und wobei die Schneidelemente (30) eine Schneide (35.1) aufweisen, die mittelbar oder unmittelbar in eine Spanfläche (35) übergeht. Zur Verbesserung des Arbeitsergebnisses ist es vorgesehen, dass zumindest bei einem Teil der Schneidelemente (30) die Schneide (35.1) zumindest bereichsweise nicht parallel zur Längsachse (L) angestellt ist.
