[origin: WO2017167611A1] The invention relates to a device for ink supply in digital printing, comprising at least one printing head (1), a feed tank (2) for an ink medium, wherein the feed tank (2) is connected to the inlet of the at least one printing head (1) via a feed line (5), and a return tank (3) for the ink medium, wherein the return tank (3) is connected to the outlet of the at least one printing head (1) via a return line (6). A gas volume (20, 21) is formed in the feed tank (2) and/or in the return tank (3). The ink medium can be conveyed through the printing head (1) via the pressure of the gas volume (20, 21) in the feed tank (2) and/or in the return tank (3).
