[origin: WO2017168086A1] Material for plastic scintillation measurement comprising: - a polymer matrix; - a primary fluorophore incorporated into the polymer matrix and composed of N-(2-ethylhexyl)carbazole, the monomer form of N-(2-ethylhexyl)carbazole being spontaneously in physicochemical equilibrium with the exciplex form; and, - a secondary fluorophore. A plastic scintillator may be manufactured in a simplified manner with the material of the invention, while having optimized properties for plastic scintillation measurement. The invention also relates to the process for manufacturing the material, a part comprising the material and the associated measurement device, and also the plastic scintillation measurement process using the material.
