The air spinning device produces a spun yarn by twisting a fiber bundle made from the sliver with airflow. The first motor 81 drives the back roller 16, and its rotation amount is controlled in accordance with a command signal. The control part 100 calculates a consumed length of the sliver based on the command signal.
