[origin: WO2017174304A1] Illustrated and described is a package sleeve (10', 10'') made of a composite material for the production of a package (15', 15''), comprising: a sleeve surface (17), a longitudinal seam (11), which connects two edges of the composite material to form a circumferential package sleeve (10', 10''), and two mock fold lines (18) which extend through the sleeve surface (17), wherein the package sleeve (10', 10'') is folded along both mock fold lines (18). To permit the production of packages of complex geometry, provision is made that, in the area of the sleeve surface (17), the package sleeve (10', 10'') has no further or no continuous fold lines other than the two mock fold lines (18). Also illustrated and described are a package (15', 15'') made from such a package sleeve (10', 10''), and a method for producing a package (15', 15'') from such a package sleeve (10', 10'').
