Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017174576A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for controlling large manipulators, in particular placing booms of truck-mounted concrete pumps, comprising a remote control device (1), by means of which active vibration damping of the large manipulator can be switched on and off and which has at least one control lever (2), which is mounted on the remote control device (1) for pivoting about at least one pivot axis (X, Y) extending orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the control lever and is mounted for pivoting around a base position and has an inner zero position region (5) and an outer driving region (7) in accordance with the pivoting angle with respect to the base position of the control lever, wherein the active vibration damping is switched on when the control lever (2) is in the driving region (7). The problem addressed by the invention is that of keeping the active vibration damping in operation even when the control lever (2) is not in the driving region (7), without making the operability considerably more difficult, in order to thus effectively damp vibrations even after an abrupt stop or during pumping operation. In order to solve said problem, according to the invention, the control lever (2) is designed to switch on the active vibration damping without causing movement of the large manipulator.
