Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a liquid composition for the cleaning of hard surfaces, said composition comprising, at least one nonionic surfactant and/or at least one anionic surfactant as well as comprising a nonionic cellulose ether selected from methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose or combinations thereof, wherein the liquid composition preferably has a pH value of from 5 to 13, and a method for its preparation. The present invention further relates to the use of a nonionic cellulose ether selected from methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose for improving the soil removal capacity of hard surface cleaning compositions.
