Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017178135A1] The invention relates to a switch device (10) for an electric motor (11), in particular of a steering system of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one half-bridge (5) having two semiconductor switches (3, 4) for energising at least one phase (X) of the electric motor (11) on demand, wherein a drive device (2) is assigned to the semiconductor switches (3, 4), which actuates the semiconductor switches (3, 4) in accordance with an activation signal (AS). According to the invention, the drive device (2) has an oscillator (7) for generating a power stroke frequency, means (6) for receiving a synchronisation signal (SS) and a device (8) for adapting the power stroke frequency in accordance with the synchronisation signal (SS).
