[origin: WO2017182388A1] The invention relates to a breathing mask for filtering breathable air of a wearer of the breathing mask. The breathing mask comprises a mask main part (1) for covering the nose and mouth of the wearer and at least one breathing valve assembly (3) which is arranged on the mask main part (1) and comprises a valve seat element (8) and a valve membrane (11) that can be moved between a release position and a closed position, said valve membrane releasing a breathing opening in the release position, closing the breathing opening in the closed position, and comprising a reinforcement structure (16) which has at least one diagonal reinforcement element (20) that runs diagonally relative to a central plane of the valve membrane.
