[origin: WO2017182250A1] The invention relates to a method for using a target gas flow (Z) consisting of pressurized target gas (ZG), said target gas flow being provided by a continuously operating gas decomposition device (2). The target gas flow (Z) is supplied to a target load (4) which discontinuously decreases the target gas flow (Z) so that an excess target gas flow (Zue) which is not decreased by the target load (4) accumulates intermittently. The invention also relates to a system for supplying a target load (4). By using the method and the system according to the invention, the excess target gases accumulated in a gas decomposition system and optionally additionally produced waste gases are used so as to conserve resources. This is achieved in that the excess target gas flow (Zue) is supplied to a compressor (7) as a propellant gas, said compressor compressing another gas (G) and supplying same to a compressed gas line (11) as a compressed gas, and the compressed gas is supplied to another load (12, 13, 14) via the compressed gas line.
