[origin: CA3016345A1] The invention relates to a method and system for representing a computer-generated simulation environment (24) simulating a real environment (10), comprising a data base (22) having data for geo-specific imaging of the real terrain (15) and the real objects (16) located in the terrain (15), wherein the data describes at least one surface course (30) of the real environment (10), wherein the method comprises the following method steps: i) capturing real-time images (27) of at least one part of the real environment (10) with at least one capturing device (14, 19); and ii) representing at least one part of the simulation environment (24) on a display (3, 4), wherein one part of the representation is formed by the real-time images (27) or is derived from the real-time images (27).
