Zerkleinerungsvorrichtung (1) zum Zerkleinern von Material, insbesondere von Wertstoffen, Restholz und Datenträgern, umfassend ein Maschinengestell (2), wenigstens einen am Maschinengestell (2) drehbar gelagerten Zerkleinerungsrotor (3) und wenigstens eine Zuführvorrichtung (4), mit welcher das zu zerkleinernde Material zum wenigstens einen Zerkleinerungsrotor (3) beförderbar ist, wobei wenigstens eine Messeinrichtung (7, 8, 9) zur kontinuierlichen Erfassung der Position der wenigstens einen Zuführvorrichtung (4), eine Steuer- und/oder Regelvorrichtung (10) zumindest zur Steuerung und/oder Regelung der Bewegung der wenigstens einen Zuführvorrichtung (4) und eine Signalübertragungsvorrichtung (11) vorgesehen ist, über welche von der wenigstens einen Messeinrichtung (7, 8, 9) generierte Messsignale der Steuer- und/oder Regelvorrichtung (10) zuführbar sind.
