The present invention relates to a locking mechanism (1), which provides opening or closing of a lid (A) by means of a release mechanism (4), wherein the pusher (4.2) provides a linear motion of the lock pin (4.1) by pushing it and this locking mechanism reduces the maintenance costs for components and the production costs by having a small number of parts.
