Abstract (en)
A terminal apparatus (1) capable of efficiently performing a random access procedure includes a medium access control layer processing unit (15) for starting a random access procedure based on a PDCCH order, a transmitter (10) for transmitting a random access preamble by using a Physical Random Access CHannel (PRACH), and a transmit power controller (17) for setting transmit power for transmitting the random access preamble based on a transmission counter, in which the transmission counter is configured at least based on a first piece of information and a second piece of information included in the PDCCH order, the first piece of information is used for indicating the random access preamble, and the second piece of information is used for selecting a resource of the PRACH.
