Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2017185116A1] The invention relates to a stackable plant container (1) for producing a hydroponic plant system, comprising a housing (3) with a front face (3a), a rear face (3b), a lower face (3c), and an upper face (3d). A standing surface (3c') is formed on the lower face (3c) of the housing (3), and a receiving surface (3d') which corresponds to the standing surface (3c') is arranged on the upper face (3d) in order to receive the standing surface (3c') of another plant container (1) which is identically stacked. At least one receiving opening (4a, 4b, 4c) for receiving plants is formed on the front face (3a) of the housing (3). The housing (3) has at least two sections along the vertical extension of the housing, namely a base section (5) which extends upwards from the lower face (3c) of the housing (3) and a spacer section (6) which extends from the upper face (3d) in the direction of the base section (5). The base section (5) is designed to hold a liquid (10) introduced into the housing (3), and the spacer section (6) defines a spacing between the at least one receiving opening (4a, 4b, 4c) and the upper face (3d) of the housing (3). The upper face (3d) of the housing (3) has at least one inlet opening (7) for introducing a liquid (10) into the base section (5), and the lower face (3c) of the housing (3) has at least one discharge opening (8) through which the liquid (10) that is held in the base section (5) and rises over a specified level can be discharged. The invention is characterized in that the rear face (3b) of the housing (3) is designed as a substantially closed rear wall (14).
