Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018177591A1] A foldable crate comprises a bottom, in each case two longitudinal-side and transverse-side outer walls that are flappable with respect to the bottom and are located opposite one another in each case in pairs, and two lock elements with an integrated peripheral region. The longitudinal-side outer walls each have a peripheral region at their free ends. The lock elements are arranged at a free end of the transverse-side outer walls such that the integrated peripheral regions of the two lock elements of the transverse-side outer walls and the two peripheral regions of the longitudinal-side outer walls together form the periphery of the foldable crate in the folded-open state of the foldable crate. The two lock elements of the transverse-side outer walls are mounted in a movable manner with respect to the transverse-side outer walls in order to form a locking mechanism, wherein the two lock elements are transferable by a movement in a direction away from the bottom from a respective locking state into a releasing state.
