Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017186568A1] The invention relates to a protective device, which is used to prevent the floating of a tank in the protective construction (8) of said tank. Said protective device consists of a supply pipe (20) into the lowest region of the tank (1), having a controllable shut-off valve (24). The tank (1) is supported on all walls of the tank space by means of braces (3, 4) having end rollers. When the tank floats slightly, a longitudinally movable tank support (11) on the tank (1) acts on a stop that is stationary with respect to the tank space. A transfer device (10) consists of a balance beam (16), the one end of which rests on a support (14) on the top side of the tank and the center (30) of which is supported in an articulated manner on a stationary profiled element (17). The other end of the balance beam is connected to a push rod (18) in an articulated manner, which push rod is articulated to a crank (19) at the other end of the push rod in order to open and close the shut-off valve (24). When opened, the hydrostatic pressure inside and outside of the tank (1) is equalized. The tank (1) can no longer float.
