Adjacent sheet metal strip coils (4) lie against one another such that screen openings (11) are formed in the radial direction, and the height of the wave peaks (6) and the wave valleys (10) of the sheet metal strip coils (4) increases outwards in the radial direction with respect to the reference plane such that the size of the screen openings (11) increases radially outwards in the flow direction, or the height of the wave peaks (6) and the wave valleys (10) of the sheet metal strip coils (4) increases inwards in the radial direction with respect to the reference plane such that the size of the screen openings (11) increases radially inwards in the flow direction.
