[origin: WO2017191515A1] The invention relates to a drawing frame of a textile machine (2), wherein the drawing frame (1) comprises at least one roller (3) and at least one corresponding counter roller (4), between which a fiber sliver (5) can be guided in a clamping manner, wherein the roller (3) and the counter roller (4) each have a roller body (6), wherein the roller (3) and the counter roller (4) each have a rotational shaft (7), wherein the rotational shaft (7) of the roller (3) and/or of the counter roller (4) is supported only at one end, wherein the roller (3) is supported in such a way that said roller can be moved between an idle position, in which the roller bodies (6) of the roller (3) and of the counter roller (4) do not touch, and a load position, in which the roller bodies (6) of the roller (3) and of the counter roller (4) are pressed against each other, and wherein the roller (3) can be moved into an intermediate position during the transition from the idle position into the load position, in which intermediate position the roller bodies (6) of the roller (3) and of the counter roller (4) merely touch. According to the invention, in the intermediate position, the rotational shafts (7) of the roller (3) and of the counter roller (4) are oriented in relation to each other in such a way that the roller bodies (6) of the roller (3) and of the counter roller (4) have a common contact area (8) which, viewed in the axial direction of the rotational shaft (7) of the roller (3), is smaller than in the load position.
