[origin: EA037316B1] The invention relates to a method for dismantling a steam generator (10) or its parts, which has a number of heating pipes (24, 26, 28) coming out of the bottom tube sheet (18); the general enveloping curve of the pipes is surrounded, observing a clearance, by the steam generator shell (12), wherein the heating pipes are split above the tube sheet and removed from the steam generator. For splitting, the following steps of the method are carried out: introduction of a cutting wire through the first hole located above the tube sheet (18) into the internal cavity of steam generator (10); enveloping all pipes with the cutting wire; removal of the cutting wire from the steam generator through the first hole (42); connection of the cutting wire to the drive; splitting the heating pipes; and extraction of the split heating pipes from the steam generator.
