Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017197385A1] Systems and methods of optical transcutaneous oxygenation monitoring. The oxygenation monitor comprises a photoluminescent oxygen-sensitive probe, a photon source positioned to direct photons at the probe, a photodetector positioned to detect light emitted from the probe when the photon source directs photons at the probe, a controller in electrical communication with the photon source and the photodetector, the controller being configured to execute a program stored in the controller to calculate a level of oxygen adjacent the probe from an electrical signal received from the photodetector. The photon source, the photodetector, and the controller are disposed in or on a support structure.
