The at least two measuring sensors (46, 47, 48) are used for detecting at least one detection element (63). By means of the at least two measuring sensors (46, 47, 48) and the at least one detection element (63), a pallet can be positioned quickly and exactly relative to a horizontal conveying unit in a simple and reliable manner.
