[origin: WO2017158309A1] The present invention relates to a thermal battery comprising an enclosure (2) containing a bundle (3) having tubes (3') made of an encapsulated phase-change material, the bundle (3) being obtained by stacking layers of tubes (3'), said layers comprising tubes (3') in a mutually parallel arrangement and connected by spacer and retaining bars (5), which bars (5) comprise, on at least one of their surfaces, individual recesses separated from each other by a sidewall, each recess being capable of receiving a tube (3').
