[origin: WO2017198553A1] The screwdriver (1) with automatic locking comprises a guide tube (3) inside which a tightening rod (4) is guided and driven in rotation, one of the ends of the tightening rod (4) being provided with a socket (5) allowing an anchoring screw (6) to be driven in rotation and tightened, which screw immobilizes an orthopaedic implant (2) against an osseous body of an individual, said screwdriver having, between the guide tube (3) and the tightening rod (4), a blocking system (9, 10 and 11) that cooperates with said guide tube (3) in order to prevent the latter from coming loose from the orthopaedic implant (2) during the tightening of the anchoring screw (6), and, on the outer periphery of the guide tube (3), a gripping knurl (8) for locking and/or unlocking the blocking system and for driving said guide tube (3) in rotation.
