Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3246268A1] The present disclosure relates to a container comprising a first and a second compartment (111,121) that allow mixing of the contents of the compartments before opening of the container. The compartments are separated by a rupturable membrane (130) that breaks when the pressure inside the first compartment increases, allowing the contents of the first compartment (111) to mix with the contents of the second compartment (121) while the container remains sealed. The container finds a variety of uses, including for food products, paints, adhesives, and in the healthcare sector.
