Die Erfindung betrifft einen Saugheber (400) für einen Einspülkasten einer Waschmaschine. Der Saugheber (400) umfasst ein erstes Saugheberteil (402) und ein zweites Saugheberteil (404), wobei das erste Saugheberteil (402) und das zweite Saugheberteil (404) derart zu einem Rohr mit einer Ansaugöffnung (408), einer Auslauföffnung (412) und einem zwischen der Ansaugöffnung (408) und der Auslauföffnung (412) angeordneten Übergangsbogen (416) miteinander verbunden oder verbindbar sind, dass eine Teilungsebene (420) zwischen dem ersten Saugheberteil (402) und dem zweiten Saugheberteil (404) im Betriebszustand des Saughebers (400) zumindest teilweise oberhalb einer einen maximalen Füllstand des Einspülkastens (100) repräsentierenden Füllstandsebene (422) verläuft und/oder den Übergangsbogen (416) schneidet.
