[origin: WO2017203142A1] A gaming table device (T) comprising: - a gaming table defining a playing area (ZT3, ZNT1) equipped with an object detection and identification system (SDT1, SDNT1), - a computer (12) provided with software capable of retrieving and analysing detection information sent by the object detection and identification system (SDT1, SDNT1), - chips deposited on an identified playing area such that the detection system (SDT1, SDNT1) generates a piece of detection information that is sent to the computer (12) in order to be analysed by same, - the software generating a piece of action information resulting from the analysis of the detection information, said action information being sent to an identified playing area (ZT3, ZNT1) in order to activate a specific functionality that can be used by a player.
