[origin: WO2017203435A1] The invention relates to an insert holder (10), for receiving and releasably blocking a cutting insert (30) provided with a central hole (31), comprising a body (11) with a seat (20), for receiving the insert (30), with a base surface (21) and a pin (23) for engaging the central hole (31) of the insert (30), and a blocking means (40) with a first lateral wall (43) movable toward a second lateral face (36) of the insert (30) and a second lateral wall (44) movable toward an erect supporting surface (25) of the seat (20), the blocking means (40) being mounted on the body (11) by means of a screw (50), and being movable, in response to clamping of the screw (50), from a free position to a blocked position in which the first lateral wall (43) of the blocking means (40) engages a lateral face (36) of the insert (30) so as to press the internal surface of the hole (31) of the insert (30) against the surface of the pin (23), to block the insert (30) in the seat (20).
