[origin: WO2017211904A1] The invention relates to a method for producing an at least partially contoured, fibre reinforced plastic profile (1) comprising the following method steps: - providing a plurality of first reinforcement fibres (2), preferably long fibres and/or continuous fibres, - feeding the first reinforcement fibres (2) into a unit (3) for combining the first reinforcement fibres (2) to produce a uni-, bi- or tridirectional fibre bundle (4), - feeding the fibre bundle (4) into a unit (5) for impregnating the fibre bundle (4) with a first polymer matrix, - feeding the impregnated fibre bundle (4) into a unit (7) for at least partially shaping and for at least partially or fully curing the first polymer matrix to produce a fibre reinforced main plastic body (8), more particularly using heat, - providing second reinforcement fibres (9) for applying to the fibre reinforced main plastic body (8) at least in parts, - feeding the fibre reinforced main plastic body (8) containing the second reinforcement fibres (9) into a unit (13) for the at least partial fibre reinforced contouring and/or shaping to produce an at least partially contoured, fibre reinforced plastic strand (14), more particularly under pressure, - trimming the at least partially contoured, fibre reinforced plastic strand (14) to produce an at least partially contoured, fibre reinforced plastic profile (1).
