[origin: WO2017207471A1] A sheet-processing foil stamping machine (100) comprises a main frame (120), a stamping unit (110) which is supported by the main frame and comprises a stamping base (130) which can be moved to and fro in a linear manner and a stamping cylinder (140) which is arranged with a horizontal rotational axis above the stamping base, and a foil unit (180) with control devices for transporting at least one foil stamping web (170) through a stamping nip (145) which is formed between the stamping base and the stamping cylinder during a stamping interval. The stamping cylinder (140) is configured as a cylinder with a first gripper bar (142-1) and a second gripper bar (142-2) which is offset circumferentially with respect to the first gripper bar. The stamping cylinder is assigned a storage drum (150) for accepting and transferring printing material sheets (B1, B2, B3) between the stamping cylinder (140) and the storage drum (150). A height adjustment device is provided with an actuating drive (138) for adjusting the height of the stamping base (130) in relation to the main frame (120).
