[origin: WO2017202901A1] The invention concerns a device (100) for monitoring the driving habits of a driver of a transport vehicle, comprising: - a unit (10) for monitoring said driver capable of recording a plurality of values of at least one behavioural parameter of the driver associated with said driving habits of the driver, - a unit (20) for recording a value of at least one operating parameter of the vehicle corresponding to the recording of each value of said behavioural parameter, and - a control unit (30) programmed to: determine a driving situation from each value of the operating parameter of the vehicle, depending on the determined driving situation, comparing said value of the behavioural parameter of the driver recorded during said driving situation with a reference value corresponding to reference driving habits for said driving situation, and emitting a warning signal intended for the driver when the value of the behavioural parameter associated with the driving habits of the driver for the determined driving situation is different from the reference value corresponding to the reference driving habits for said driving situation, repeatedly.
