The invention further relates to a security assembly (1) for securing an object against theft and/or manipulations, with at least one adhesive label (4, 4', 4",4"') and at least one security cable (3, 3', 3"), as well as to a corresponding method. According to the invention, a connection section (35) of a flexible security cable (3, 3', 3") is fixed to the object by means of a flexible adhesive label (4, 4', 4", 4"'), and during the fixing with at least one contact surface (42) of the adhesive label (4, 4', 4", 4"'), a counter contact surface (39) is electrically conductively contacted with the connection section (35).
