[origin: EP3467400A1] A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes: a refrigerant circuit; a liquid injection pipe branching off from a pipe between a condenser and a pressure reducing device of the refrigerant circuit to be connected to a liquid injection port of a screw compressor; an adjustment device provided to the liquid injection pipe and configured to adjust a liquid injection amount; and a controller configured to control the adjustment device. The controller is configured to: perform control for controlling the adjustment device so that a discharge temperature of refrigerant discharged from the screw compressor becomes a target discharge temperature during an operation of the screw compressor; and control, when the operation of the screw compressor is to be stopped, the adjustment device to increase the liquid injection amount, and then stop the screw compressor.
