Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2551341A] A fitted sheet 44 including a heat resistant elastic material, wherein the heat resistant elastic includes heat resistant rubber. The elastic may have been heat set at a temperature in the range of 170 to 200ºC, for a period of 50 to 70 seconds. The elastic may form a stretchable border of the fitted sheet. The fitted sheet may further include four corner seams (36, 38, 40, 42, fig 5) which are adjacent to stretchable corner portions 54, 56, 58, 60, and four additional seams 46, 48, 50, 52 which extend from the corner seams onto the top panel 24 of the sheet. The elastic may be woven, include polyester yarn and include a series of rubber cords. The side and end panels of the sheet may be trapezoidal in shape (figs 19, 20). The sheet may also include labels (250, fig 14) which identify the particular sides and/or ends of the sheet.
