[origin: WO2017211618A2] The invention relates to a device for transporting objects, in particular portions of at least one food product, comprising a least one transport mover which comprises at least one rotor for interacting with a rail system, in which the transport mover can be moved along at least one track along a transport direction, and at least one support mounted on the rotor. The device also comprises a track system, and a control device for controlling the movements of the transport mover in the track system. The invention is characterised in that the support of the transport mover is designed to maintain at least one, in particular open-topped, base part of the packaging, which can receive at least one object, and that the transport mover can be moved with base part of the packaging on at least one station and/or between at least two stations of the device, along the track.
