Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017198377A1] The invention relates to a granular refractory mineral elasticizing granulate for refractory products, in particular for basic refractory products, wherein the minerals consist of mono-phase sintered spinel mixed crystals of the ternary system MgO-Fe2O3-Al2O3 of the composition range MgO: 12 to 19.5, in particular 15 to 17 wt.-%, remainder: Fe2O3 and Al2O3 in a quantity ratio range of Fe2O3 to Al2O3 between 80 to 20 and 40 to 60 wt.-%, the respective mixed crystals having an Fe2O3 and Al2O3 content, starting from an MgO content between 12 and 19.5 wt.-%, from the limited ranges indicated for each case, to obtain 100% in the total composition. The invention also relates to a method for producing said elasticizing granulate and to the use of the same.
