[origin: WO2017211911A1] Modular turret (13) for mounting on an armoured vehicle, comprising on the one hand an unchanging and unique basic structural unit that can be interchangeable, referred to as a standard shell (1), provided with an interface means, and on the other a plurality of functional, interchangeable and removable modules and/or systems (5, 6, 9, 12, 21, 22, 23), that can be rigidly secured to the standard and interchangeable shell (1) via specific and distinctive securing means for connecting each functional module to said standard shell (1), the interface means thus being suitable for the assembly of all the different modules and/or systems of the same functional type on said standard shell (1) at an interfacing zone on the latter (1), said standard shell (1) comprising the assembly of a plurality of plates of different shapes and dimensions giving the standard shell (1) a geometric shape of fixed dimensions, which plates may have openings and/or connectors for securing said functional, interchangeable and removable modules and/or systems.
