[origin: WO2017215831A1] The invention relates to a method for coordinating a meeting point of an automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3) and OF a user (4), comprising the following method steps: a) entering a desired meeting point T by the user (4) by means of a communication-capable terminal, b) transmission of the desired meeting point T to a central station (5) or to an automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3), c) receiving the desired meeting point T by the central station (5) or the automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3), d) checking current environmental data of the meeting point T and/or of a route from the current location of the automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3) to the desired meeting point, e) assessing the desired meeting point T by using the environmental data, wherein, depending on the assessment, the desired meeting point T is defended or at least one alternative meeting point AT is suggested, wherein the confirmation or the at least one alternative meeting point AT is transmitted to the terminal or the user (4), f) confirming the originally desired meeting point T or at least one alternative meeting point AT by the user (4), g) receiving the confirmation by the central station (5) or the automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3), and h) implementing an automated journey of the automatically driving motor vehicle (2, 3) to the confirmed meeting point according to method step e) or f).
