[origin: WO2018024435A1] The invention relates to an interrupter unit (100) for a circuit breaker. The interrupter unit (100) comprises: two electrically conductive arc contact pieces (5, 6), which can be moved relative to each other along a switch gap (2); an insulant nozzle (7) with a nozzle duct (8) through which the switch gap (2) runs; a heating volume (10) connected to the nozzle duct (8); a separating housing (11), which divides the heating volume (10) into a cold gas region (31) and a hot gas region (32); a cold gas duct (33), which runs through a nozzle duct end section (25) of the nozzle duct (8) and is connected to the cold gas region (31); and a hot gas duct (34), which runs through the nozzle duct end section (25) and is connected to the hot gas region (32).
