[origin: WO2019072495A1] The invention relates to a rail vehicle (1) having a bogie (4) in which a wheelset axle (5) is mounted such that the wheelset axle (5) can rotate about an axis of rotation (6). A drive motor (7) for the wheelset axle (5) acts on the wheelset axle (5) via a transmission (8) and a clutch (9). The drive motor (7) is fastened to the bogie (4) at least on one side and is supported on or suspended from the other side. Viewed in the direction of the axis of rotation (6) of the wheelset axle (5), the transmission (8) is situated between the clutch (9) and the drive motor (7).

Ein Schienenfahrzeug (1) weist ein Fahrgestell (4) auf, in dem eine Radsatzwelle (5) gelagert ist, so dass die Radsatzwelle (5) um eine Drehachse (6) drehbar ist. Ein Antriebsmotor (7) für die Radsatzwelle (5) wirkt über ein Getriebe (8) und eine Kupplung (9) auf die Radsatzwelle (5). Der Antriebsmotor (7) ist zumindest an einer Seite am Fahrgestell (4) befestigt und stützt sich an der anderen Seite ab oder ist dort aufgehängt. In Richtung der Drehachse (6) der Radsatzwelle (5) gesehen ist das Getriebe (8) zwischen der Kupplung (9) und dem Antriebsmotor (7) angeordnet.
