A container for storing and protecting banknotes arranged as a stack, wherein the container comprises a device assembly for spoiling the banknotes arranged as a stack within the container, the device assembly comprising: a fluid transport unit and a channel; the fluid transport unit being configured for transporting a fluid being contained in a fluid receptacle, when the fluid receptacle is arranged in fluid communication to the fluid transport unit, into the channel; the channel being arranged in fluid communication to the fluid transport unit and having a applying portion being arranged along a side of the container for in an operation state dosing the fluid in a dosing direction onto an application side of the stack of banknotes, preferably the application side being an upper side of the stack of banknotes; wherein the fluid transport unit additionally comprises: a pump mechanism configured to pump the fluid from the fluid receptacle into the channel; and the device assembly comprises a control unit arranged for controlling the fluid transport unit including the pump mechanism; wherein the applying portion comprises an array of nozzles comprising at least three sub-arrays of nozzles arranged to provide a controlled dosing of the fluid to at least three different positions, respectively, along the dosing direction on the application side.
