[origin: WO2018041555A1] Overall, the invention relates to a seal segment (10) for a turbine and to an assembly for sealing the gaps between seal segments (10) and stator vanes of a turbine. The seal segments comprise a plate-shaped wall (12), the first lateral surface (14) of which faces the vane tips in the assembled state of the seal segments, is surrounded by a closed circumferential edge (16), and can be divided into four lateral wall sections (16a - 16d), and the plate-shaped wall comprises a seal element (18) which is arranged over the entire surface of the lateral surface (14). The aim of the invention is to further minimize or completely prevent a local flow occurring between directly adjacent seal segments if necessary. This is achieved in that a number of seal lamellae (20) which are secured on one side are provided on at least one of the lateral wall sections (16) and/or on at least one of the seal lateral wall sections (18) facing adjacent seal segments when the seal segments are assembled in a turbine so as to form a ring in order to reduce a flow along the corresponding lateral wall section.
