[origin: WO2018002060A1] The invention relates to a perforating press, comprising an in particular hollow-cylindrically shaped receiver (1) for receiving a workpiece (2), an upset-cap (8), wherein the upset-cap (8) can be pressed against the workpiece (2) by means of an upset-force for a first deformation of the workpiece (2), and a perforation cap (7) arranged on a piercer (4), wherein the perforation cap (7) is pressed into the workpiece (2) by means of a perforation force for a second deformation of the workpiece (2). Both the upset-force of the upset-cap (8) and the perforation force of the perforation cap (7) are applied by means of a common drive member (5, 6).
