[origin: WO2018001664A1] Exhaust-gas flap devices for internal combustion engines are known in which, in the state of a flap body (14) in which the latter closes off the duct (12), the flap vanes (18, 20) bear against respectively associated stop surfaces (30, 32). In order to ensure reliable closure of the duct, as a result of both flap vanes bearing against the stop surfaces thereof in the closed state of the flap, even in the presence of thermal expansions or any production tolerances, it is proposed according to the invention that an encircling gap (36) between the inner diameters of the two bearings (26, 28) and the outer diameter of the shaft (16) corresponds to at least half of the sum of the magnitudes of an axial displacement, which is the maximum possible owing to the manufacturing tolerances and thermal expansions, of the first nominal stop surface (38) relative to the central axis of the bearing receptacles (22, 24) and of the second nominal stop surface (40) relative to the central axis (34) of the bearing receptacles (22, 24).
