[origin: WO2019081214A1] The invention relates to a printing device comprising a base body, at least one loading station, at least one printing station for printing a printing item, and at least one printing item carrier for receiving the printing item to be printed, in which the printing item carrier can be moved between the stations of the printing device, the base body is provided with a conveyor means by means of which the printing item carrier can be delivered to the at least one printing station, the conveyor means comprises at least one linear drive which is designed to move the at least one printing item carrier along the base body, the base body is formed with at least one track along which the printing item carrier can be conveyed, said printing item carrier at least partially extending above and/or below said track, and the base body is provided with means for receiving a load of the printing item carrier, in which the printing item carrier engages.
