Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2018000006A1] Described is a collapsible supporting frame for a hammock (12), with a frame body (1), symmetrical in relation to a longitudinal centre plane and made of straight struts, and joint pieces (2, 3) interconnecting the struts and forming insertion sockets (7, 8, 9) for the struts. In order to create advantageous structural design conditions, according to the invention: the frame body (1) comprises two joint pieces (2, 3), with insertion sockets (7, 8, 9) for each three tetrahedron-forming struts, two of the struts forming foot-like struts (10) and the third strut, running along the plane of symmetry between the two foot-like struts (10), forming a support arm (11) for the hammock (12); between the two joint pieces (2, 3), a longitudinal strut (4) is provided, engaging with the aligned insertion sockets (7) on the sides of the joint pieces (2, 3) which face away from the tetrahedron; and both the struts forming each tetrahedron and also the foot-like struts (10) of the opposing joint pieces (2, 3) are interconnected by a tensile means (13, 14) gripping the strut ends.
